Pegasus III in its original was a yacht built in the early 1970's by Krögerwerft, Rendsburg, Germany for a Greek owner. The vessel which was powered by 2 Diesel engines of each 3750 PS was fairly fast for it's time and the yacht was awarded 1974 for it's outstanding design. The model was built by Hans Rudolf Bolliger from the well known model kit from the German company Graupner. Even so it is a model kit, Hans Ruedi changed a few things to optimize the models behaviour and to adjust the design a little to newer times.
