Museum seeks ‘Songs for Stanton’s’
Do you have a favourite record from the 1950’s? Perhaps it’s linked to a particular story or memory…
The Museum has been calling out for memories of Stanton’s Music Shop (Dudley, 1950s) since February but now wants to enlist the help of local people to help decide which songs should be played in the recreated shop which will form part of its new 1940s-60s historic town.
Anyone with memories or stories relating to Stanton’s in the 1950s can call the Museum on 0121 557 9643, email collections@bclm.com or post details to Collections Team, Black Country Living Museum, Tipton Road, Dudley, West Midlands DY1 4SQ.
